Groceries and Pharmacies
- Albertsons — Has an Osco pharmacy inside, and carries a great variety of products.
- Fry’s Food and Drug — Also has an on-site pharmacy. The selection isn’t quite as good as Albertsons, but the prices are often better. Open 24 hours a day.
- Osco Drug — Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Carries some general merchandise in addition to the drug store.
- Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market — Another nearby grocery store.
Other Shopping
- Target has several stores in Tucson. The one on Grant Road is closest to the Inn.
- Tucson Mall has both major department stores and a variety of smaller shops (directions).
- Wal-Mart also has several Tucson locations.
Movies
- The Century at El Con Mall is a nearby first-run movie theater where you can always find the latest releases playing.
- The Crossroads is a second-run theater. The movies are a little older, but the tickets are less expensive. You can occasionally find a first-run movie or two playing here as well.
- The Catalina Theater and Loft Cinema are two nearby “art” theaters, featuring independent movies that are hard to find at the multiplex.
- Casa Video can set you up if you’d rather stay in than go out. They’re just a few blocks away, and guests can use our home theater room’s VCR or DVD player to watch movie rentals. You can even browse their large selection from the Casa Video web site to see in advance whether they have what you want.
